Tingting Cojuangco opens Filipiniana show at Manila Clock Tower Museum

Fashion icon and former Tarlac Governor Margarita “Tingting” Cojuangco graced the opening of Norman Peñaflorida’s “Nouveau Philippiniana: Kasuotan, Kultura, Kasaysayan” at the WOVEN exhibit,Manila Clock Tower Museum recently.

The exhibit runs until April 30, 2024.

Peñaflorida, founder of The Closet fashion atelier and events styling company, envisioned “Nouveau” as a fusion of heritage and contemporary, showcasing the beauty and authenticity of Filipino culture and arts.

Through his artistry and designs, Norman produces vibrant narratives that pay homage to the Philippines’ rich and storied culture.

The exhibit also features paintings by visual artist extraordinaire Jun Alfon and an indigenous accessory collection by Asia Pacific Luminaire Awardee and multi-disciplinary artist Professor Carlito Camahalan Amalla.

The Manila Clock Tower Museum is on the 4th floor of the Manila City Hall. It is open from Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission is free.
