Project beneficiaries are 300 pregnant women from various barangay in Mandaluyong City, who will be provided the items that they will need immediately upon delivery. Each Mommy-Go-Bag contains Sanitex maternity pads, Caress adult diapers, PH Care feminine wash, PH Care feminine wipes, Well Greens malunggay capsules, Nestlé MommaLove lactation milk, Nestlé MommaLove insulated lunch box, Fortima multivitamins, Swish breath spray, infant’s clothing, baby blanket, washable cloth diapers, washable cloth diaper cotton inserts, disposable diapers,  Caress crib sheet, Orex digital thermometer, Band Aid alcohol, alcohol swabs, SM Bonus cotton balls, Tender Care baby soap and bottles of VCO.

At the project launch at the Mandaluyong Blue Building, 100 mothers received their Mommy-Go-Bags and listened to the orientation and seminar speakers. The other 200 beneficiaries will receive their Mommy-Go-Bags and attend orientation and seminars at later dates in coordination with  the different Mandaluyong health centers.

The orientation and seminars are considered important so mothers can learn about how to care properly for newborn babies, the importance of breastfeeding and practical tips on how to breastfeed, how to deal with the challenges related to breastfeeding, and how to be responsible parents, specifically birth spacing, planning pregnancies and using family planning methods.
