Happy Pets Club holds Vet Appreciation Day
On April 18, Robinsons Malls Happy Pets Club, with the Quezon City Veterinary Department and Society for the Advancement of Veterinary Education and Research (SAVER), celebrates the doctors who help keep our beloved animals healthy with Vet Appreciation Day.
Vet Appreciation Day is happening at the Robinsons Magnolia Activity Area on April 18, from 10 a.m. onwards.
The event is open to animal lovers, pet owners and their pets, students, families, and aspiring veterinarians.
Talks will feature speakers from the Society for the Advancement of Veterinary Education and Research (SAVER), the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association, the Philippine Animal Hospital Association, the Quezon City Veterinary Department, and PetEterniTy, which preserves pets with taxidermy. You can even see a horse taxidermy on display at the event.
The event honors veterinarians essential to animal health and welfare, food safety, and environmental conservation. With this event, the Happy Pets Club hopes to inspire young people to enter this noble profession.
A fun pet parade will feature cats and dogs, games, and raffle draws. There will also be free pet services, including Pet Bakuna (free anti-rabies vaccination) and Pet Konsulta (free vet consultation).
Vet Appreciation Day is one of the many exciting activities Robinsons Malls Happy Pets Club has planned for the year. Robinsons Malls is a haven for pets and pet owners but goes beyond being pet-friendly and welcoming fur babies and their loving humans. Happy Pets Club has built a community of pet owners and lovers, advocates for responsible pet ownership, animal welfare groups, and LGUs. It also embraces aspins (Asong Pinoy) and puspins (Pusang Pinoy) and encourages others to do the same.
Its different programs include Pet Bakuna, Pet Konsulta, the adoption program The Gift of Furever Home, and free spay and neuter with Snip ‘en Snap.
